Ingredients:
- 2 cups raw almonds
- 1 cup dates, pitted
- 1/2 cup raw cacao powder
- 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 ripe bananas
- 1 cup strawberries, sliced
- 1/4 cup coconut cream
- 1/4 cup shredded coconut flakes
Instructions:
Process the almonds in a food processor until they are finely ground
After adding the dates, blend the mixture until a sticky dough forms
Make three equal portions out of the dough
To make the chocolate layer, thoroughly mix one portion of the dough with the melted coconut oil, raw cacao powder, and maple syrup
Fill a lined cake tin with this mixture, pressing it firmly in
To make the vanilla layer, puree one banana with the remaining dough portion until its smooth
Evenly distribute this mixture over the chocolate layer
To make the strawberry layer, puree the leftover banana with the chopped strawberries in a blender
Scatter this blend over the layer of vanilla
The cake should be frozen for two to three hours, or until it solidifies
Add shredded coconut flakes and coconut cream on top before serving
Cut and savor
