Ingredients:
- 4 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup coconut sugar
- 1/2 cup melted coconut oil
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 4 large apples, peeled, cored, and diced
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions:
Warm the oven up to 175F 350C
Rolling oats, almond flour, coconut sugar, melted coconut oil, maple syrup, cinnamon, and salt should all be mixed together in a bowl
Mix until it falls apart
Firmly press half of the mixture into the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking pan that has been lined with foil
Diced apples, lemon juice, cornstarch, and water should all be put in a saucepan
For about 5 to 7 minutes, or until the apples are soft and the mixture has thickened, cook on medium heat
Cover the oat mixture in the baking pan with the apple mixture
Add the rest of the oat mixture on top of the apples
After the oven is hot, bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until golden brown
Let it cool all the way down before cutting it into bars
