A creamy and flavorful vegan cheese fondue made with cashews and aromatic seasonings. Perfect for dipping crusty bread and vegetables
Ingredients:
- 2 cups raw cashews, soaked overnight
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon white miso paste
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 loaf crusty bread, cubed
- Assorted vegetables for dipping broccoli, cauliflower, carrots
Instructions:
Soak cashews in water, add nutritional yeast, lemon juice, garlic, miso paste, Dijon mustard, onion powder, paprika, turmeric, salt, and pepper
Blend the ingredients together in a blender
To make it smooth and creamy, scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed
Move the mixture to a saucepan or fondue pot
Stir often while heating over medium-low heat until it thickens and gets warm all the way through
If you need to, change the seasoning
You can serve the vegan cheese fondue with cubed bread and different kinds of vegetables to dip
