Ingredients:
- 2 large onions, sliced into rings
- 1 cup gluten-free all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 cups gluten-free breadcrumbs
- Cooking spray
Instructions:
In a shallow dish, combine gluten-free flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper
Dip onion rings into the flour mixture, coating evenly
Place beaten eggs in another shallow dish
Dip the flour-coated onion rings into the beaten eggs, allowing excess to drip off
In a separate dish, place gluten-free breadcrumbs
Dredge the onion rings in the breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere
Spray the bottom of the slow cooker with cooking spray
Arrange coated onion rings in a single layer in the slow cooker
Spray the tops of the onion rings with cooking spray
Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours, or until onion rings are crispy and golden brown
Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce
