Mildly Spicy Jalapeno Deviled Eggs

Salinas Bareback

These deviled eggs have a delightful kick of mild spice from jalapeno peppers, balanced perfectly with creamy mayonnaise and tangy Dijon mustard. Theyre not only delicious but also look cute with a sprinkle of paprika and a cilantro garnish.

Ingredients:

  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 jalapeno peppers, finely chopped remove seeds for milder heat
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon white vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Paprika for garnish
  • Fresh cilantro leaves for garnish

Instructions:

Cover the eggs with water in a saucepan

Over high heat, bring to a boil

Then, turn the heat down to low and let it simmer for 10 minutes

Take the eggs out of the pot and put them in a bowl of ice water for five minutes to cool down

Take off the shells and cut the eggs in half down the middle

Remove the yolks with care and put them in a different bowl

Use a fork to mash the egg yolks

Then, add the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, white vinegar, salt, and pepper, along with the finely chopped jalapeo peppers

Mix everything together well

Making a little mound, spoon the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves

To make the deviled eggs look and taste even better, sprinkle paprika on top of them

Add a fresh cilantro leaf to the top of each deviled egg

Put the deviled eggs in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before you serve them

Enjoy your jalapeno deviled eggs, which arent too spicy
